Live your dream now, don’t wait!
I was recently messaging with someone a couple weeks ago and they had a tagline under their name saying something to the effect of…
“Make your dreams a reality” which got me thinking….
What happens when you achieve the perceived dreams you thought were what you wanted…
…but they ended up leaving you in a place of wanting more, wondering why it doesn’t feel like you thought it would.
Who planted the seed of this dream?
Was it you or a vision of something you thought was what you wanted because you saw someone else had it?
What if the dream you had was not really your dream, but was someone else’s?
What if your dream is actually something you haven’t even considered as your real “dream”?
Wait, what? A REAL DREAM?
And there are people who run around touting they are “LIVING MY DREAM”…sadly most of this is pure BS. Strip away the “things” and is the dream still real?
Most of the time I find there is a massive issue in a specific part or multiple parts of these so called “living the dream”ers’ life.
What is the perception of the American Dream?
Nice house?
Luxury cars?
Cigars?
Champagne?
Vacations?
Beautiful everything?
Before you get sideways, there is nothing wrong with these things for the most part.
But my question is, if these things were stripped away, are you still living a life of joy and abundance?
Consider that perhaps along the way, the dream you have now isn’t your dream at all….
This is why there is something digging into your skin, like a splinter continuing to annoy and at times frustrate you. It’s not a tangible thing at all.
Our dreams are just that, dreams.
It’s not often we find ourselves in a place where we actually question what we truly want, but also what do we currently have.
We see what others have and find ourselves wanting what they have.
We could look at it as the 7 deadly sins, but at a basic level, we are always in a place of wanting more for the sake of having more.
What if the path to your dreams was actually having less?
What if all that you’ve collected is actually preventing you from having your new dream or new reality?
You chose to get up 3/4/5am morning after morning, work until the wee hours of the night, studying how to build the life you wanted, associated with groups and people who you shared a common belief of wanting the same things…
Slowly, you built your yourself, created a family, upgraded to a nicer house in a neighborhood where you felt safer, finally could afford the car you saw successful people driving, you know, the niceties of life…
As this progression took shape, you “sacrificed”, “hustled” and gave your all in order for the achievements you believed would be fulfilling.
Saying things like,
(Choose your situation)
“ Once I get this client, then we can go on the vacation to Europe we’ve always wanted to do”
“Once I get this position in the company, the raise, we will be able to finally have the life we’ve worked so hard for”
- What happened after this was achieved?
- Did the pressure stop?
- Did the desire for more stop?
- Did you feel fulfilled?
Perhaps you did, I unfortunately didn’t.
Time and time again, money would show up, things I wanted and always dreamed to have would show up, and I still felt very much the same, and in many cases worse.
I asked myself the question,
What if right now I am already living my dream and in fact it’s not a dream it’s my reality.
Often times we find ourselves reimagining what could be and not focusing on what could be considered a dream is actually already here.
About four years ago I thought about living with purpose and what that would look like.
What does it mean?
Thought about the relationship I would have with my wife and my kids.
Thought about the money I might make and the things that I might have.
But when I stop today to take inventory of where I’m at, the realization was I had everything I needed and wanted.
There was no longer need to go out and collect more or do more for fulfillment.
I AM.
The thing that I possess cannot be taken away.
It had to be earned and there was a journey involved.
And through the journey I gained so much more than ever imagined.
To the point now I no longer look at material things and money the same.
There was freedom from my own mind.
Not all the time, but enough to see and feel a new level of joy and reality I never thought possible.
There’s no price tag for this level of freedom.
Actually it is quite simple to acquire… it’s just a decision.
That decision is to LET GO…
Let go of outcomes and expectations not serving me and not providing that which I desire, truly desire, truly want in my life.
This is the system and process my clients go through in the Force Multiplier Program.
We look for the TRUTH and then we build from there.
Just by simply addressing the mind set, we can shift to a bigger abundance than ever previously imagined.
By making this shift,
We create capacity to create much more than we ever have.
And it’s ok to be more,
It’s ok to want more for ourselves and create wealth and legacy!
And it’s certainly ok to push your boundaries of who you think you currently are.
This is EXPANSION of self.
This is personal growth on an exponential level.
…and like Biggie says, “It was all a dream…”
